Police have confirmed the remains found on farmland on the outskirts of Glasgow are those of missing Irish student Karen Buckley.
The 24-year-old disappeared after leaving a nightclub in the city on Sunday morning.
Her family say they are "heartbroken" and are appealing for privacy.
A 21-year-old man has been arrested, and is due in court tomorrow.
A post mortem is expected to take place later today to try and establish exactly how Karen died.
The Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation is extending sympathy, on behalf of all its members, to the family, friends and nursing colleagues of Karen Buckley.
Karen was a member of the INMO as a student nurse in University Hospital, Limerick.
The INMO says her family and her former colleagues in UHL are in their thoughts and prayers, at this very difficult time.
