Mr.Conlon spent 15 years in Jail in Britain for a crime he didn't commit.

He was jailed in 1975 for the IRA bombings of two pubs in Guilford which left 5 people dead.

He went to prison along with his father Giuseppe, seven members of the Maguire Seven along with three of his friends, Paul Hill, Paddy Armstrong and Carole Richardson.

Their jailing was one of the biggest miscarriages of justice in British history along with the Birmingham Six.

Their convictions were finally quashed in 1989, but as Northern Journalist, Eamon Mallie explains, Gerry Conlon was very badly damaged by his experience:
