It's that time of the year again...dig out your cheesiest Christmas jumper for the annual Geansaí Nollag challenge!
O'Connell St will be awash with tinsel, flashing red lights, Santa hats and reindeer antlers in an attempt to smash the world record, already held by Dublin, for the highest number of Christmas jumpers in the one place at the same time.
The Geansai Nollag challenge is supporting Temple Street Children's Hospital this year and anyone attending who does not have a Christmas jumper can go to the 'make 'n' do' station' to create their own.
The lights on O'Connell St also get turned on today.
It all kicks off from 3:30pm and O'Connell street will be closed to traffic.
