Gardai are investigating after a mugging took place in the city centre yesterday morning.
At around 2:30am, a man was assaulted by three teens near the junction of Merrion Street and Fenian street.
The victim was hit from behind and knocked to the ground.
The gang including a teen of Asian ethnicity stole his belongings which have since been recovered.
The teens got into a silver Ford Mondeo taxi which took off in the direction of Baggot Street.
Gardai are now appealing for witnesses and the taxi driver to come forward.
