Something needs to be done to help those living in the shadow of gangland crime feel safer in their homes.
That's according to Independent TD Finian McGrath who is leading a report into the effects of organised crime on communities.
It comes as the victim of Dublin's latest gangland shooting is laid to rest after being gunned down at his home in Saggart ten days ago.
