Fresh Appeal For Info About Raonaid Murray's Murder

Gardaí have issued a fresh appeal for information on the 20th anniversary of the unsolved murder of Raonaid Murray.

The body of the 17-year-old was found on the early hours of 4th September 1999 in Silchester Crescent in Glenageary.

She had been stabbed to death less than 500 yard from home.

Raonaid was last seen alive just before 11.30pm on Friday 3rd Spetember 1999 in Dun Laoghaire.

No Prime Suspect; No Motive

Gardaí say that despite a large number of suspects being identified, there is no prime suspect.

More than 3,400 witness statement have been taken, and gardaí say they have yet to find a motive for her killing.

A full-time incident room remains in-situ at Dun Laoghaire Garda Station.
