Two teenagers have been airlifted to hospital in Waterford after they were rescued from the water off Hook Head.
Four teenagers were swept into the water at around 2pm this afternoon.
Emergency services were deployed and the Waterford based Rescue 117 pulled two teenagers from the water.
They were brought to University Hospital Waterford where their condition is unknown.
It's believed the two others who were swept into the water managed to swim back to shore.
Captain of the Waterford Search and Rescue Base Daniel Wright says the conditions were rough in the area at the time of the rescue.
