An ex-banker has been acquitted of raping an Irish student in the US.
Jason Lee was also cleared of charges of sexual misconduct and assault.
The thirty eight year old is a former Goldman Sachs banker who was charged with raping an Irish student, while she was on her J1 in 2013.
The then 20 year old alleged she was attacked at a summer party in the Hamptons of August that year.
She travelled to New York to testify in this non-jury trial which took three weeks.
However after deliberating for less than 24 hours, Judge Barbara Khan cleared Jason Lee of the charges.
She said the prosecution had failed to prove the case against Mr. Lee beyond reasonable doubt.
