Flags Will Fly At Half Mast For Victims Of Carrickmines Fire

The Taoiseach says flags at Government Buildings will be flown at half mast during the funerals of the ten victims of the Carrickmines halting site fire.

Enda Kenny visited the scene yesterday and books of condolence have been opened at a number of places, including the Mansion House.

Two infants, three children and five adults all lost their lives in the blaze in south county Dublin in the early hours of Saturday morning.

Investigations are continuing into the cause of the fire and counselling is being offered to the survivors and families of the victims.

The National Educational Psychological Service is liasing with staff the Kilternan Educate Together School where some of the deceased children attended.

They'll be on hand to offer support to their teachers and classmates today.
