Dublin City Council has finished the first phase of rebuilding the notorious Priory Hall.
Work began more than two years ago to bring the fire trap apartments up to safety standards.
The complex of 187 apartments in Clongriffin had to be evaucated in 2011 due to fire fears and sub-standard structures.
To bring "New Priory" up to scratch the entire building had to be striped, leaving only the frame intact.
The city council is spending around €27M on reconstructing the flats and the first phase of 60 apartments has now been completed.
The local authority is keeping 9 for social housing with 51 to go on sale at the end of the month.
It's hoped the rest of the apartments will be finished by the end of next year.
