Efforts are ongoing to re-house 19 families following a fire at an apartment complex in the city on Friday night.
Emergency services were called to the scene on Queen Street in the North Inner City after an electrical junction box caught fire.
Electricity and water have been cut off in some of the apartments and could take weeks to fix.
Independent Councillor Christy Burke says there was no available hotel rooms last night.
"We couldn't find accommodation last night because of the All- Ireland final.
"We have 19 families who are homeless; hopefully we'll sort it out today, and if not, tomorrow."
Concerns Raised
Councillor Burke said that residents have been raising their concerns about the condition of the complex for more than five years now.
He said it's time for Dublin City Council to act.
"We've had heating pumps collapsing in severe winters, we have had disconnections of water for nights and weekends on end, we had water pumping from the gable ends even today pumping right down to the electrical houses that went on fire.
He added, "The complex needs to be demolished and entered into the regeneration programme. Let the process begin."
