Finglas West locals are furious at plans to almost double the size of a homeless shelter for women.
Complaints of anti social behaviour have spiked since the Abigail Centre opened last year.
Members of the West Finglas Residents and Tenants Association say they understand there's a housing crisis, and that's why they are putting alternative suggestions on the table.
They would rather see elderly homeless people or families housed on the 15 acre site.
