Four people - three of them children - have drowned after a boat carrying migrants sank in the sea off Greece.

13-people are still missing after the rubber dingy went down near the island of Kalymnos last night.

It comes just a day after 7-people were killed in similar circumstances off the coast of Lesbos.

Here at home, a family day in aid of the refugee crisis in Syria is taking place in Dublin today.

The event is being organised in support of Medicines Sans Frontiers.

The event will be hosted by the Elbow Room Yoga Studio in Stoneybatter from 1pm to 6pm.

Marie Moran from the Ireland Says Welcome Group, explains what activities will being going on today:

Meanwhile, Hungary's closed its border with Croatia overnight - as it struggles to cope with the effects of the migration crisis.

The country's received nearly 400,000 refugees this year, and had already put a fence on the border it shares with Serbia to keep more out.

Asylum seekers hoping to reach northern Europe via Hungary are now expected to travel through Slovenia.
