A 42 year old 9/11 survivor has died of stomach cancer.
The woman, Marcy Borders, was the subject of one of the most iconic photographs taken during the September 11th attacks.
Her family announced her death on Facebook.
Marcy Borders had only been a month into a new job with the Bank of America in one of the Twin Towers at the time of the attack.
After the first tower had collapsed, a photographer, Stan Honda, took a photo of Marcy covered in a thick layer of ash.
The haunting image became one of the most iconic photos of the attack, and Marcy was known as "The Dust Lady".
