Members of the Dublin Fire Brigade are attending the scene of a suspected gas explosion in the city.
At approximately 9:30am this morning a manhole cover exploded beside a busy restaurant at the corner of Merrion St Upper and Lower Baggot St.
Bord Gais have been informed and people are being urged to be careful in the area.
