Taoiseach Enda Kenny is under growing pressure to contact his Egyptian counterpart directly over the case of Irish citizen Ibrahim Halawa.
An Egyptian court adjourned his trial yesterday until October - the tenth time it's been postponed since his arrest in Cairo in 2013.
The human rights organisation Repreive has said Ibrahim has been tortured while in prison and has not been afforded due process.
