A new poll has revealed that Irish people would prefer attend an Irish music festival over a trip to the World Cup or Australia.
The survey of 1,000 people by Lottoland, see's Electric Picnic come out on top of a long list including a VIP trip to Oz to see Ireland's Summer Rugby Tour and a trip to Russia for the World Cup Final.
The nationwide summer events poll saw 23% of people choose the VIP Electric Picnic package, which included backstage access & onsite glamping.
Included on the list of options was a bells and whistles week long trip to the Galway Races and a corporate box at both All Ireland finals at Croke Park.
A trip to see Pope Francis say Mass in the Phoenix Park was also included, however only 6% of people surveyed chose this option.
