Gardaí are investigating an aggravated burglary at a home in South Dublin.
A woman was left uninjured in the incident.
At around 1.45 on Thursday afternoon two males called to a pensioner's home at Lavarna Grove in Terenure.
They claimed they were checking the water pressure and the occupant of the house, a female in her late 80's allowed them into her home.
She was then threatened with a knife and the two males left with a small sum of cash.
The woman was uninjured in the incident.
