Early childhood education workers are holding protest marches around the country today.
The demos are being organised over low wages, and low funding levels in the sector.
Here in Dublin, the rally will be held at the Children's Minister's constituency office in Swords.
Chairperson of the Association of Childhood Professionals Marian Quinn, says the average wage of 10 euro in the sector is too low.
