Two of Ireland's biggest/littlest people/animals are voting yes in next month's marriage equality referendum.

Dustin the Turkey has phoned Bosco, to ask him to vote yes to same-sex marriage on May 22nd.

Dustin, a member of Straight Up for Equality, is encouraging friends to ask each other to vote with them.

Dustin and Bosco's chat comes as it was revealed thousands of people who plan to vote in next month's referendums (there's also one of the age you can run for President) have had their names struck off the register without them knowing.

Dublin City Council removed almost three thousand names in the first three months of this year - more than three times the number for the same time last year.

A person's name should only be removed if they have died, or moved address - and a letter should be sent by the Council to notify of the change.

The deadline to register to vote, or change your address is May 5th - checktheregister.ie
