A Dublin student who's spent exactly one year in a Cairo jail, has gone on hunger strike.
18 year old Ibrahim Halawa began his protest after a mass trial involving over 400 defendants was abandoned.
Halawa, from Firhouse, was arrested last year following a day of protests against the ousting of President Mohamed Morsi.
