An Irishman has died following an accident in Italy.
It's reported that the young man from Dublin fell from a balcony in Naples.
This incident happened over the weekend when the 24 year old believed to be from Sandycove fell from a terrace at an apartment in Naples.
The young man had been living in the city and working as an English teacher.
Its understood the he initially survived the fall but later died of his injuries.
The Department of Foreign Affairs says its providing consular assistance to his family.
