Tourism bosses have launched a new campaign aimed at changing how city break visitors view Dublin.

A survey found that many people coming here view the capital as "tired and dusty", and officials are also keen to show off everything Dublin has to offer.

So alongside trad sessions in Temple Bar, tourists will now know more about places like the Docklands, Kilmainham and Howth Head,

Part of the campaign is a new official logo for Dublin, which has a strapline of 'a breath of fresh air'.

The plan aimed at British and European tourist is to shake off the party image and sell the city as a vibrant place offering a variety of experiences for tourists.

Last year the most visited attractions were the Guinness Store House followed by Dublin Zoo, the National Aquatic Centre and the Book of Kells.
