Cuisine de France have baked up something special in Dublin this Christmas, and the city's homeless are benefiting from it.

The company has opened a pop-up shop on George's Street, and Boulangerie de Noel is supplying a special delivery of breads each evening for Focus Ireland's and Simon Community's nightly soup runs.

Both charities help to give warm food to the people sleeping rough on Dublin's streets each night. The Simon Community's Soup Run consists of over 100 part-time volunteers who walk the streets in all weather offering soup, sandwiches and tea to the city's homeless.

Both teams also spend time chatting with those they meet along their nightly runs. The charities are said to be thrilled with the offer of bread from Boulangerie de Noel.

Cuisine de France's authentic boulangerie opened on Georges Street on December 10th.
