What is, arguably, Dublin's "gayest" street has just become a bit gayer.
A massive mural of two men embracing has been painted on the side of a building on the corner of George's Street.
It was painted overnight by artist Joe Caslin, who created the drawing as a “poignant representation of same sex love" in Dublin ahead of next month's referendum on marriage equality.
The four-storey mural, on the side of the building that houses The Mercantile Hotel and Rick's Burgers, has already been photographed by many people, who are posting their images on social media.
Caslin is understood to be planning to paint a second mural, featuring two women, but hasn't yet found a building suitable for the installation.
Amazing. Can't begin to describe the feeling seeing this image of 2 men embracing in central Dublin. #YesEquality pic.twitter.com/Hlo55D5sAJ
