Dublin Fire Brigade Warns Of Advertising Scam

Businesses across the city are being warned about a scam, which claims to offer advertising space in a publication on behalf of Dublin Fire Brigade.

The brigade say someone's making unsolicited calls to businesses, offering advertising in a publication they claim they're producing on their behalf.

Money is then taken from the business' account.

But Dublin Fire Brigade say its official publication 'Firecall', produced by Ashville Media group, is the only publication they're affiliated with.

Anyone who thinks they might have fallen victim to the scam is asked to contact Pearse Street garda station on (01)-666-9000.

This matter is under investigation by An Garda Síochána.
