In the 771 million euro budget to run the city, almost 60 million euro has been earmarked for homeless services.
Councillors have also agreed to a 5 million euro contingency fund while businesses will see a cut to rates.
Over in South Dublin Co. Council sporting and community groups in the area will benefit from a 3.4 million euro surplus this year.
