She was last seen at around 6pm on Saturday being bundled into the boot of a car in Enniskerry.

It's understood detectives received a second report of a woman seen in distress in a vehicle in Killiney at around 7pm on Saturday.

Last night a 40 year old married dad of two, named locally as Mark Hennessy, was shot dead by officers after the Qashqai was spotted in the Cherrywood Business Park.

He was shot by Gardai and the case is being referred to GSOC as is the protocol in instances where detectives fire a gun.

Meanwhile Jastine Valdez is still missing. She's described as approximately 5ft in height, of slight build with long black hair and brown eyes. When last seen she was wearing a dark coloured jacket, white t-shirt, grey leggings and runners.

Detectives have renewed their appeal for information and are particularly interested in anyone who may have noticed suspicious activity in the area of Puckscastle Lane and Kiltiernan Lead Mines in Rathmichael "from 6pm last Saturday 19th May 2018 to 8pm Sunday 20th May 2018. Anyone with information, however insignificant should contact Bray Garda Station on 01 6665300, Garda Confidential Line 1 800 666 111 or any Garda Station."
