Donations 'At A Glance' for Philippines Disaster

Another 16 tonnes of Irish aid will arrive in the Philippines today.

The latest shipment, worth around 120 thousand Euro, includes water and sanitation materials to help the victims of last month's typhoon Haiyan.

In total 166 tonnes of emergency supplies have now been airlifted by Irish Aid to the region, while the value of Ireland's total contribution stands at 3.62 million Euro.

Minister for Trade Joe Costello, says we are now one of the biggest donors in the world to the disaster fund.
