A solicitor representing singer Dolores O'Riordan has asked a judge to strike out a case against her, saying she was not in her right mind at the time.
The former Cranberries frontwoman is facing four charges, including assault and obstructing a Garda, after being arrested at Shannon Airport off a New York flight last November.
Various medical reports have been handed in to Ennis District Court stating that the 43 year old was delusional at the time and suffering mania arising out of being bipolar.
The court also heard when she was arrested off the plane she told Gardai 'You can't arrest me - I'm a queen of Limerick - I pay your wages - do you know who I am'.
The case has been adjourned until January 28th.
