DNA tests have shown a girl taken from a Roma family in Tallaght is the couple's biological daughter.
The young girl was placed into care earlier this week, after concerns raised by neighbours.
Gardai and the HSE had been trying to confirm her identity.
Earlier today, a Roma toddler was returned to his family Athlone.
Officers had placed him into care while they investigated concerns he wasn't living with his parents.
Gardai say they're satisfied he is the biological son of the family he's living with.
