Hauliers are making their way into Dublin city centre to protest the high cost of fuel.
Significant disruption is expected as a convoy of trucks plan to park in and around Kildare Street.
Several approach routes are due to be blocked by the Irish Truckers and Haulage Association Against Fuel Prices who will travel to Leinster House.
Gardaí say they have a plan in place, but they are advising commuters may be impacted. Kildare Street and Molesworth Street have been closed off.
Gardaí are aware of a potential protest activity, particularly in the Dublin Region, tomorrow.
This may impact early morning traffic particularly on the motorway network from 7am. Commuters should plan accordingly.

The industry fears smaller operators will be put out of business if the Government doesn't act.
Speaking at Lusk/Rush M1 services this morning,
Mark Sheehan, who owns MS Transport in Kinsealy, spoke to our reporter at Lusk/Rush M1 services this morning.
He says his diesel bill has increased by €20,000 a month; "The problem is, as you know at the moment, inflation at the minute with the drivers wages, diesel, toll bridges it's just there's no money in it."
