A suspect device has been discovered in north inner-city Dublin.
The Army Bomb Disposal Team was called in to examine the device in the Summerhill Road area this afternoon.
It has now been made safe, and taken to a secure location for testing.
A spokesperson for the Defence Forces told 98FM News that it is not yet known if the device was live, or if it had the potential to explode.
Summerhill Road between Rutland Street and Gardiner Street was closed for a time, but the area has now been declared safe and has reopened to traffic.
