People who've not yet registered to vote in the upcoming same sex marriage referendum have until Tuesday to do so.
The referendum itself takes place on the 22nd of May.
John Waters has said those on the NO side of the marriage referendum debate are being 'scared into silence'.
The journalist is a member of the new 'First Families First' group, which was launched in the last week, to campaign for a NO vote.
He said flaws in the Yes campaign's argument are only now beginning to emerge:
However Head of Amnesty Ireland and advocate for the YES side Colm O'Gorman, has rejected Mr Waters comments.
He says we should focus on the question being asked in the referendum and not on 'tactics' as a diversion:
