DCC Urged To Hang On To Historical Dublin Mews

Dublin City Council are being urged not to sell off two mews buildings on St Stephen's Green.

They are listed buildings and have been owned by the city for decades but now lie derelict.

The mews back on to the Little Museum of Dublin and there are hopes they could end up becomming a part of the successful tourist attraction.

Curator Simon O'Connor says it could cost around 1.5 million euro to fully bring the buildings up to public use:
