Talks Over Garth Brooks Concerts Take Place Tonight

Dublin City Council Manager Owen Keegan has said that the licensing decision regarding the Garth Brooks concerts cannot be overturned.

Speaking at a City Council meeting tonight he said the deicison canot be ammended but that he welcomes changes to the system for licensing events.

Two licenses have been blocked out of the five gigs organised by Aiken Promotions, affecting 160,000 fans who bought tickets.

Garth Brooks himself said that it's five gigs or none at all.

Fine Gael Councillor Naoise O' Muiri says he is suprised licences were granted for three nights in the first place.
