There have been three more coronavirus-related deaths in the Republic.

11 new cases of the virus have also been confirmed.

Today's numbers bring the death toll in the country to 1,730, and the total number of cases since the pandemic began to 25,414.

The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases being treated in the country's hospitals has continued to fall, with the number down to 25 patients as of 8pm yesterday.

However, there has been a slight increase in the numbers being treated in the countries intensive care units (ICUs) - with the number rising to 12 yesterday evening, compared to nine the previous day.
