There have been 313 new cases of coronavirus confirmed in Ireland.

The figures remain subject to change, amid the ongoing impact of the cyberattack targeting the HSE.

The five-day moving average now stands at 426, compared to 431 yesterday.

Latest hospital figures, meanwhile, show there are 70 COVID-19 patients in Irish hospitals - including 26 in ICU.

Health Minister Stephen Donnelly today said three million COVID-19 vaccine doses will soon have been administered.

As of today, vaccine registration is open to everybody aged 40 or older.

Minister Donnelly said officials are getting the vaccines “out the doors as soon as they come in”, and everyone will be vaccinated as soon as possible.

More than half of adults in Ireland have already received at least one dose.
