You could soon be allowed to drink on Good Friday.
Minister for Justice Frances Fitzgerald says she's held talks with the Vintners Federation of Ireland and the Licenced Vitnners Association to discuss a range of issues, including the Good Friday ban.
There's a call for alcohol sales to be allowed this year, with Rugby's Champions Cup quarter finals over Easter Weekend.
Minister Fitzgerald said there's divided opinion on the issue, and no decision has been made yet.
