The Mayor of Dublin visited Moore Street in the city centre today, amid fears that restoration work - which began this week - has caused serious damage to the buildings at the 1916 site.
It comes as a group of protesters began occupying the site on Thursday - over concerns some of the buildings were to be demolished.
The restoration work is being carried out as part of the 1916 Centenary celebrations.
