Clampdown On Slum Landlords In Dublin

A clamp down on slum landlords by Dublin City Council shows the vast majority of rented homes aren't fit to live in.

The Intensive Inspection Programme was launched in 2012 to bring old accommodation up to scratch.

Orders to carry out works on properties were sent to landlords in over 90 percent of cases.

Local rep for the north inner city, Neil Ring, says that's a shocking figure:
