A group of 30 children from the Chernobyl region of Belarus arrived at Dublin airport on Thursday for a two week Christmas holiday.
Its part of the long-running efforts to help children affected by the ongoing effects of the 1986 nuclear disaster.
Families from all over Ireland are opening their homes to the children.
