The Government's being urged to implement laws to allow for tagging of criminals.
Senator Mark Daly says Section 21 of the Criminal Justice allows for those convicted of serious offences to be tagged electronically upon release from prison.
The Fianna Fáil politician says it would help clamp down on repeat offending and save taxpayers money.
