The Dublin Lord Mayor Christy Burke has signed the book of condolences at the Dutch Embassy for the victims of the Malaysian Airlines crash.
298 people died when the jet was reportedly shot down by a Russian missile over Ukraine last Thursday.
Among the dead is Irish mother of two Edel Mahady who was originally from Palmerstown - her local parish priest is Father Tony O'Reilly:
