A bomb scare at Ronanstown Garda Station in West Dublin on Monday was a hoax.
The army bomb disposal squad was called at 11:50am after a suspect package left outside the station was made to look like a viable device.
The area was evacuated and a cordon was put in place.
The device was described as quiet amature looking with wires and batteries.
