Two men remain in Garda custody this morning following the discovery of a man's body in a house in County Laois.
The remains of the 26-year old were found in Portarlington yesterday evening.
At around 5 o'clock yesterday evening Gardaí were called to a house on Spa Street in Portarlington County Laois.
There they discovered the remains of a man.
Shortly afterwards two arrests were made, one man in his early thirties, the other in his mid forties - they're now being held at Portlaoise Garda Station.
The scene remains sealed off this morning while a technical exam is carried out.
The next step in the investigation will involve a post-mortem on the body - in the meantime Detectives are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.
