Bloom Festival Gets Underway For Day Three At Phoenix Park

People are still flocking to Ireland's largest gardening event in the Phoenix Park.

So far thousands have descended on the capital to enjoy all the attractions of Bloom.

The annual event winds up this Bank Holiday Monday.

Laura Douglas Bord Bia Organiser says they are looking forward to the rest of the weekend.

"Please come down to see us, there's still time to book your tickets online.

"The weather is set to be fantastic, and there's still three days to go.

"Remember, children go free, so two children under the age of 16 go free with each adult."

"It's a great day out, and we'd love to welcome you."

Bord Bia Bloom starts at 9am and finishes at 6pm on each day from June 1st-5th.

A number of shuttle buses will be running on a loop from Park Gate Street to Bord Bia Bloom and back from 8.30am to 7.00 pm each day.

For plant lovers, there is a 'Plant Creche' at Bloom where you can leave your plants while you experience all that Bord Bia Bloom offers.

There is also a “wheelbarrow taxi service” to help people get their purchased plants back to their car.

The event is family friendly, with a Kids Zone, and a picnic area for all the family.
