Blame Game Over Downing Of Flight

It's claimed rescue workers have recovered a second flight recorder from the Malaysian airliner which crashed in eastern Ukraine killing all 298 people on board.

Russian rebels and Ukraine blame each other for bringing down flight MH17, which was reportedly hit by a surface-to-air missile.

Pro-Russian separatists have guaranteed accident investigators "safe access" to the crash site.

They also say they'll allow authorities to recover the bodies of the victims.

Reporter Harriet Salem is in Ukraine and has been speaking to locals near the crash site:

More than half of the passengers were Dutch, and 27 of them Australians.

Australia's Prime Minister Tony Abbott says if the plane was brought down, it's an 'unspeakable crime':

The incident comes just months after another Malaysian jet vanished over the Indian Ocean.
