Flood defences are being put in place in Dublin this evening.
Dublin City Council crew are closing a number of flood gates due to heavy rain - a weather warning remains in place for eastern counties.
The affected areas are Clontarf, Merrion Gates, Sandymount Strand, and along the river Dodder.
High tide is expected to reach it's peak at about 10.30 tonight.
