Officers at Dublin Fire Brigade have had a special visit - from a baby they helped deliver a few weeks back.

The newborn made "a rushed entry" in to the world at the start of October, when first responders were called to help.

Firefighter/Paramedics Robert Earley and Cian Malone assisted Jenni at her home, when she realised her baby wasn't going to wait for a hospital ward.

Dublin Fire Brigade said "On arrival at the house the two reassured the young family and within ten minutes assisted in the delivery". They then brought mum and baby to the Coombe maternity hospital.

To thank officers Robert and Cian, the family have named their son Senan Robert Cian.
